Povishield™ 7.5% Povidone Iodine Surgical Scrub

Also known as betadine scrub, it is a broad-spectrum solution that rids the skin of most bacteria, fungi, viruses, and other harmful microbes. This is ideal as a topical germicidal on the skin before surgery. This povidone iodine surgical scrub solution uses a 7.5% Povidone Iodine solution which makes it effective against a broad spectrum of microbes.

Povidone Iodine, 7.5% w/v (0.75% w/v available iodine) (Antiseptic)
Non-ionic detergent base q.s. and Emollients & Moisturizer

Description

This surgical scrub works against bacteria, viruses, etc. in the presence of blood, serum, and necrotic tissue. It must be used full strength and can either be soaked or applied as a paint. Povishield™ must be allowed to dry before dressing or applying a cast.
